A family-run contractor with its own staff, vans and supervisors
Supreme Contract Services has been cleaning buildings and looking after grounds across Wiltshire and Gloucestershire for over twenty years. We’re based at Whitehill Industrial Estate in Royal Wootton Bassett and run by the people you’ll speak to when you call.
Core values
Having maintained service contracts for many years, we care about keeping them. We look to build long-term relationships built on trust, reliability and doing exactly what each customer needs — through proactive management, good communication and over 20 years' experience in the industry.
How we're set up
Around 70 operatives, all directly employed and paid weekly — no agency staff, no subcontracting. That's what lets us cover holidays and sickness without the service dropping. Two office staff run the day-to-day: a supervisor who manages the teams and site visits, and a contracts manager who looks after quotes, compliance and paperwork. James Forty, the director, still visits sites and prices most of the larger contracts himself.
Fixed prices, no fixed term
We only work on fixed-price contracts, each with a schedule of work attached that says what gets done and how often. What we don't do is lock you in for a year. Providing a quality service is what keeps a contract — so if we're not good enough to keep, you can leave.
Health, safety and accreditation
We are SafeContractor accredited and audited annually. Operatives are trained in basic health and safety before starting any job; those on construction sites hold CSCS cards, with PASMA and IPAF for towers and cherry pickers. Method statements, risk assessments and COSHH assessments are provided before every contract starts. We hold public and employer's liability insurance — certificates on request for your supplier records.

Most of our sites are within 45 minutes of Swindon: Swindon, Royal Wootton Bassett, Chippenham, Cirencester, Marlborough, Malmesbury, Calne, Devizes, Faringdon, Stroud, Cheltenham, Gloucester, Bath and the villages between. We take on contracts further out if the site is worth the travel — ask.

From a single office to the biggest shed in Swindon
B&Q Distribution Centre, Swindon
796,649 sq ft — the equivalent of 20 football pitches and the largest building ever put up in Swindon. We did the builders’ clean and final floor clean, cladding, offices, canteens and kitchens, on schedule. Forgetting a brush back at the van meant a 30-minute round trip to fetch it.
